SkyRunner dune buggy/light-sport aircraft combo. Don't care how much it costs ($120k for those of you who do care).

120k seems like a lot for a tube chassis with a prop, but I suppose those certifications for light sport aren't cheap.

I was going to say 'woah, looks like a rip-off of the Parajet Skycar' and then realised they've just changed the name. I've wanted one ever since back before they first built any, when it seemed certain to be vapourware. Shame it doesn't have a higher top speed in the air, though, or it would be an awesome way to go on trips of one or two hundred miles.

With some extra armament that very well may be one of the best apocalypse survival vehicles for the lone wolf type.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but all I can see is rocks being flung by the tires directly at the prop. The good news is that when the prop starts to disintegrate in flight you'll already have a parachute ready to go.
